INTRODUCTION

Shad Stoker is with BuddCo, a Salt Lake City supply and distribution company that has served the detailing and car wash industry since 1991 across Utah, Nevada, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana and Colorado. He served as 2024 President of the International Detailing Association. While at SEMA, Shad noticed the best brands all had one thing in common, IDA membership, and joining built the relationships that helped grow his business.

As IDA President he pushed for monthly payment plans for dues, helped create a Social Media Committee and worked on a mentorship program. In the episode, Shad gets real about why distribution is harder to break into, picking one customer avatar instead of selling to everyone, not letting perfection stop you from posting, and how negative self-talk and gratitude shape results.
