INTRODUCTION

Andy and Isobel Duff are the husband-and-wife team behind Studio 16 Car Care on the southwest coast of Scotland. Andy previously owned a barbershop, and Isobel runs Lotus Lashes, a lash and brow business, alongside her detailing work. Isobel won the IDA Newcomer of the Year award in her first year, a moment that was emotional for both of them.

Isobel says the precision, patience and steady hands she built doing lashes carried straight over to PPF, which she now prefers to detailing. Andy talks about how hard it was to get comfortable on camera, and how showing his face online changed things. Together they cover women in detailing, mixing beauty and barbering with car care, their trip to MTE in Florida, social media and work-life balance.
